Product design and UX/UI
We work out who the product is for and what they need to do first, then design the screens to match. You get a clickable prototype you can test with real users and show to your team or investors, and a design that is ready to build.
From a rough idea to screens ready to build
A discovery workshop
A few focused sessions to pin down the problem, the users and what the first version has to do.
User flows and wireframes
The path through the product on paper first, so problems show up before they cost money.
A clickable prototype
A prototype you can tap through on your phone and test with real users.
UI design and a design system
Screens, colours and components that stay consistent as the product grows.
Ready for developers
Specs and assets organised so building is quick, whether we build it or someone else does.
Design that survives the build
The people who design it can also build it, so the app ends up looking like the design.
Is this you?
Founders with an idea
You know the problem and roughly who it's for. We turn it into a prototype you can test and show to people before you pay for development.
Teams moving off paper and spreadsheets
Your staff already have a way of working. We design the screens around it, so the new system feels familiar from the first day.
Products that grew messy
An app or dashboard that works but confuses people. We find where users get stuck and redesign those parts first.
Four steps, no surprises
Listen
A call or two with you and, where possible, the people who will use it. We write down the problem, the users and what version one must do.
Map and sketch
User flows and rough wireframes. They are cheap to change, so this is where we decide what goes in and what waits.
Prototype and test
A clickable prototype on your phone. We watch real users try it and fix whatever trips them up.
Polish and hand over
Final screens, a small design system and specs a developer can build from, whether that's us or another team.
We're not the right fit if…
- You want a large research study with hundreds of interviews. Our testing is quick and practical.
Before you call
Can I hire you for design only?
Yes. You can take the designs and build them yourself or with another team. We will make them easy to hand over.
How long does design take?
It depends on how many screens and how clear the idea is. We agree the scope first and share work in progress along the way.
Do I own the designs?
Yes. The designs and files are yours once the work is paid for.
Can you redesign an existing product?
Yes. We start by looking at how people use it today, then fix what slows them down.
What do I need to bring?
The problem you are solving, who it is for and anything you already have: sketches, a spreadsheet your team uses, an app you like. You don't need a written brief. Working that out is part of the job.
Do you design marketing material too?
Yes. Social media posts, ad creatives and launch graphics, made in the same style as your product so the app and the marketing look like one brand.
Do you test with real users?
Yes, whenever we can reach them. Three or four people tapping through the prototype show most of the problems. If your users are hard to reach, we test with people close to them and tell you that's what we did.
